Drug Detection Dogs for Schools in Kenya
Narcotic drugs and substance abuse is a serious problem affecting many schools, colleges and universities in Kenya. Octagon Kennels Ltd partners with schools administration to provide drug detection dogs.
Our drugs detection teams are capable of locating all major illicit substances including heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, ecstasy, amphetamines, lsd, marijuana etc. Discretion and confidentiality are a key factor in all our work and as such we endeavor to offer advice to individuals/groups relating to the law and the companies policies regarding the misuse of illegal substances in the workplace.
Our drug detection dogs are trained to find a large range of substances, as well as all substance combinations and derivatives. We offer a bespoke service and can provide both long and short term contracts for a host of properties and events, including pubs, clubs, airports, stadiums, hotels and business premises.
Canine drug detection dog teams operate at airports, hospitals, offices, police operations, events and music festivals. Our Proactive Drug Detection Dogs detect the presence of drugs by searching cars, buildings, schools, factories, aircraft and ships.
Worked on a lead by the handler, our dogs make no contact with the people they scan. If drugs are detected on a person, the dog will sit in front of them, giving grounds for a security officer or police officer to conduct a search for unlawful possession of drugs.
